The Homestead, 83 Stetson Shrine Lane, Norwell, MA

Every third Sunday in August since 1905, Kindred members from around the country answer “The Call” gathering at The Homestead along the shores of the North River where Robert Stetson settled nearly 400 years ago. Members and guests enjoy a weekend of activities that celebrate our cousinly heritage we have in common.

The weekend program starts on Saturday with an afternoon activity followed by a catered “Meet and Greet” dinner and speaker program.  On Sunday morning we all gather at the Pavilion for coffee and light refreshments, with activities planned for the children. A group photo is taken around 11 a.m before sitting down to some New England clam chowder and a catered Lobster/Corn/Clam luncheon. (Meal options available for our landlubbers).  The annual membership meeting usually starts around 1:00-1:30 p.m.

Note: “The Call”, announcing the convening of the Annual Meeting of the Membership and including Reservation forms, is mailed in mid-July to all members and associate members of record in good standing.  Reunion invitations are not mailed to members who are two or more years in arrears in their dues. If you are not sure of your member status or have recently moved, please contact the Membership Secretary.
